AIC SONGBOOKS

Cut off from "civilization" -- deprived of radios and other sound reproducing machinery -- campers and counselors at AIC were forced to depend on their own musical capacities for individual and collective entertainment.

We'd love to know what AICers sang in the decades before the "folk revival" of the 1950s and 60s. This song book, kindly provided by Van Wood, bears the bears the unmistakeable impress of popular folksong groups of the period -- the Weavers, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Marais & Miranda, and others.
