The first camp songbook (that I've been able to find) was produced in the summer of 1962. Its contents reflect the mainstream of the early folk revival: the Weavers (Shalom, Goodnight Irene), Pete Seeger (Tell Old Bill, Deep Blue Sea, Tarry Town, Darling Corey), Richard Dyer-Bennet (Golden Vanity), and the South African, Joseph Marais (Pity the Poor Pitat). To see the contents of the songbook, click on the cover (below)

Van Wood was kind enough to share with us photographs he took during the summers of 1962 and 1963. To see them, click this lovely photograph of Johnny French and Peter Chase.
